Highlights:

• A 49,000-SF addition and an 11,000-SF renovation to the existing hospital.
• Challenges included upgrades to existing systems to meet  current code requirements and significant upgrades to smoke and fire walls.
• The building is two stories, with structural steel on drilled pier foundations. The building skin consists of metal panels, masonry and curtain wall glass. The exterior uses metal panels extensively. The roof is white PVC.
•  Project site was extremely tight. Daily coordination with other on-site contractors was extremely important.
