Panzica Construction Manager

Cleveland

Panzica is seeking an Experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Contract Administration: Implement the terms and conditions of the contract based upon established systems, policies and procedures. Includes participating in bidding, preparing contract documents, defining and monitoring compliance with documentation requirements, defining and monitoring compliance with the submittal process, and project close-out.
  • Cost Management: Manage all or part of the cost of a planning, design, and construction process to remain within the owner’s budget, including cost estimating, cost reporting, cost breakouts, pay requests, cash flow analysis, change orders, and
  • Schedule Management: Monitor and manage the project schedule throughout the course of the project to ensure the project is completed in compliance with the contract terms. Includes identifying the major components of the project, their sequence and durations, utilizing scheduling software, scheduling subcontractors and deliveries, resolving time conflict issues, and/or scheduling
  • Quality Management: Review, inspect, and test project systems, materials, documents, techniques, a workmanship to ensure conformance to the plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Includes review of shop drawings and submittals, field inspections, material acceptance, and punch list completion.
  • Safety Management: Assist Project Superintendent with monitoring procedures to protect the health and safety of jobsite employees, visitors, and the general public. Includes the jobsite safety plan, safety inspections, subcontractor insurance compliance and OSHA
  • Client Relations : Build and maintain positive relationships with long-standing clients based on trust an value-added through communication, client service and performance. May participate in preparing or contributing to the development of proposals and proposal.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must possess a B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture, or equivalent combination of education and field
  • Must have 10-15 years of experience in the construction industry in ground-up commercial construction projects – large-scale $10-$50M
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, Viewpoint, Procore and Contract Management and BlueBeam .
  • Requires knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, landscaping, and architectural plans as they relate to schedules, cost and
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work productively with clients, owners, project professionals, and field and office
  • Aptitude to identify problems and propose solutions.

Panzica Construction is seeking a Superintendent to run a $10-50M+construction projects in the Cleveland, OH area. The position will be responsible for directing all site construction activities and subcontractors as required to successfully complete construction on time and within budget.
Job Requirements

  • Must be able to manage ground-up construction to completion.
  • Must have 10-15 years of experience in the construction industry in ground-up commercial construction projects – large-scale $10-$50M
  • Must be proficient with computers and software consistent with commercial construction.
  • Must have the ability to work with project team members to successfully complete work.
  • Must be Customer Focused and Detail Driven.

Desired Skills And Experience

Candidates must be proficient in the following:

  • Overseeing safety on job site
  • Read and implement construction documents, drawings and specifications
  • Schedule and document all required inspections, quality testing or any other compliance requirements.
  • Read and understand project schedules and generate four-week look ahead and look back reports.
  • Schedule and order materials, inspections and manpower to meet project schedule.
  • Inspects work in progress to make sure that the work performed meets project quality requirements and conforms to project specifications.
  • Work with and communicate effectively with architects, engineers and owners
  • Works with subcontractors to make sure that project stays on schedule and meets quality requirements.
  • Must have verifiable experience for completed projects with a cost of $5M and up from job start through punch out completion.

Project Engineer

Panzica Construction is currently seeking a full time Project Engineer to join our team in Cleveland, OH.
In this role you will assist Senior Project Managers who are responsible for managing the CM-at-Risk or Design-Build construction process from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Manager in all phases of construction
  • Writes RFI’s, submits for approval and distributes accordingly.
  • Reviews and understands the subcontract documents as they apply to assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Work with owner/client to provide updates, obtain approvals and complete change orders for scope of work revisions.
  • Participates in project planning meetings and reviews.
  • Reviewing project specifications, blueprints, and building plans.
  • Assist in preparation of change orders, and cost estimates, and review of schedules.
  • Document project progress with project site photography.
  • Utilize web-based project management software to draft reports as well as document field conditions and contractor progress.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • BS degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
  • 1-2 years professional experience with a construction management firm
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills to effectively track, report, and manage multiple projects and priorities where meeting deadlines is critical.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment with a wide variety of people, including owners, architects, subcontractors, and business leaders.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and people-centered Director of People and Culture to lead our organization’s human capital strategy. This role owns four core pillars: employee retention, training and development, performance management, and recruiting. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator who can build programs that attract top talent, develop employees into future leaders, and create a workplace people want to stay in.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Retention

  • Design and lead initiatives that improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
  • Analyze turnover data and exit interview trends to identify root causes of attrition and implement corrective action plans.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify at-risk employees and develop proactive retention strategies.
  • Input on total rewards strategy (compensation philosophy, benefits, recognition programs) in partnership with Leadership Team
  • Champion a positive workplace culture, employee resource groups, and inclusive initiatives.

Training and Growth

  • Build and manage a company-wide learning and development framework, including onboarding, upskilling, and leadership development programs.
  • Create individualized career pathing and growth plans in partnership with managers.
  • Identify skill gaps across the organization and source or develop training content (internal workshops, LMS content, external partnerships).
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through KPIs such as skill assessments, promotion rates, and employee feedback.

Performance Reviews

  • Own the end-to-end performance management cycle, including goal-setting frameworks, mid-year and annual review processes, and calibration sessions.
  • Train managers on how to deliver effective, fair, and actionable performance feedback.
  • Ensure performance review outcomes are directly linked to promotion, compensation, and development decisions.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve performance management tools and processes to keep pace with organizational growth.

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting strategy across all departments, from workforce planning to offer negotiation.
