Over 3,600 people attended the grand opening of the new South Euclid-Lyndhurst branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library on Sunday, October 18. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held and an open house for the public to tour the new one-story facility situated on South Green Road, directly across from Notre Dame College.

In early fall, Panzica Construction completed work on the 30,000-square-foot library which boasts a writer’s center, a digital recording studio, a technology learning center and an interactive children’s play area. The echo-friendly design earned the building a LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its water-efficiency, optimized energy performance and accessibility to public transportation.
