The first weekend in November was an exciting one for Panzica Construction as the company was honored with a Build Ohio Award from the Associated General Contractors of Ohio for the Flats East Bank Apartment Building. The AGC created Build Ohio in 1991 to celebrate the commercial construction industry and the program recognizes contractors and construction management firms for excellence in their trade.
The AGC judging panel selects winners based on criteria including excellence in project management, client service, and innovative techniques. The award competition honored Panzica Construction in the New Construction $30-100 million category for the Flats East Bank Apartments, which was completed this past summer. The 500,000-square-foot structure is home to 240 apartment units and sits as the flagship of the new, revitalized East Bank of the Cleveland Flats.
