Panzica Investments pursues investment opportunities by employing a disciplined, rigorous evaluation of financial, operational and legal fundamentals of prospective portfolio companies. In general, the key drivers behind our target investments are as follows:

An Experienced Management Team. We believe our ultimate success will be determined by the quality of the people we back. We look for entrepreneurs of high integrity who own a significant interest in their business and have a unique understanding of their industry segment.

A Clear, Defensible Intellectual Property Advantage. We look for companies with high potential technology and other intangible assets that can be levered to produce durable investment returns. Each investment will be evaluated and structured in order to maximize the value of intellectual property, including: patents, trademarks, copyrighted materials, trade secrets, and other intangible rights.

A Large and Growing National Market. Generally, we seek to invest in companies serving $100 million or larger markets which have the potential for 20% or more annual growth in the near term.

Current Revenue and Proven Economic Model. While we occasionally invest in (and sometimes launch) pure start-ups, we look for early stage ventures that have "cracked the nut" necessary to generate initial revenues. Alternatively, we provide expansion capital for companies with proven economic models seeking to expand their business.

Domiciled in Ohio (or proximate to the region). We believe that the mid-west, and in particularly, Northeast Ohio, has tremendous unrealized business potential. As the regional economy continues the process of reinventing itself, the influx of talent and high-potential business creates tremendous opportunities for young companies on solid footing.
